Questions

Does streaming to five places need five times my upload?

No. You send one stream to us and we send it on from our servers, so your upload is the same whether you publish to one destination or twenty.

Will multistreaming reduce my quality?

Your source can be copied without re-encoding. Quality will be identical to what you send.

What happens if one platform drops mid-broadcast?

Every destination is supervised independently. If one drops, it reconnects on its own while the rest keep publishing. You are told what happened, in plain language.

Can I connect TikTok and Instagram?

The TikTok Live Streaming API is invitation only. Until access is granted, connect TikTok as a custom RTMP destination using the server and key from TikTok Live Studio. Instagram has no public live streaming API for third parties. Where a Professional account has RTMP access through Meta, add it as a custom RTMP destination.

Do I have to use OBS?

Can I bring my own RTMP server?

Any server that accepts RTMP. You supply the address and key.

Who can see my stream keys?

Nobody, including us in normal operation. Keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they reach the database, are never written to a log, and are only decrypted at the moment a broadcast starts.
